Details:
On or about Monday, March 20th, 2022, around 4:07 in the morning, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and two tractor-trailers collided. Troopers from the VSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 95 in Sussex County, Virginia.
Representatives from the Virginia State Police said Dennis Lee Abindgon was killed when the vehicle he was in allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer that was stopped on the side of I-95. After the initial impact, the vehicle spun into the path of a second tractor-trailer. Emergency responders pronounced Abingdon dead of his injuries a short time after the collision.
