On or about Thursday, January 14th, 2021, around 8:11 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer sent a 71-year-old man to the hospital. Officials said the accident happened along County Road CX in Portage, Wisconsin.
Law enforcement spokespeople said 71-year-old Dennis Mouser was injured when he was allegedly struck by an 18-wheeler when he fell into the roadway. Paramedics transported Mouser to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Police did not mention any other injuries or vehicles in their preliminary report.
According to Google Maps, County Road CX runs north and south through the Porage area. Portage is located about 106 miles northwest of Milwaukee.
