Details:
On or about Thursday, February 3rd, 2022, around 9:29 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a heavy-duty pickup truck left one man dead and sent another individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 in Kerrville, Texas.
Officials from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 60-year-old Dennis Nelson Keller was killed, while a 43-year-old man was injured when the Ford F-350 they were in was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer along Interstate 10. Paramedics rushed Keller and his passenger to a nearby hospital where Keller later succumbed to his injuries. Officials did not say if the tractor-trailer driver was injured.
According to Google Maps, Kerrville is about 65 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
