On or about Friday, April 8th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian left one man dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 75 in Denison, Texas.
Law enforcement officials said Desmond Deon Craddock was killed when he was allegedly hit by a vehicle as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Highway 75. Emergency responders pronounced Craddock dead a short time after the accident, but it is not immediately clear if he died at the scene or if he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after the accident.
