Details:
On or about Thursday, July 22nd, 2021, around 10:55 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck left one man dead and sent two women to the hospital. Troopers from the ISP said the accident occurred along North State Road 3 in Greensburg, Indiana.
Deputies from the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department said 29-year-old Devin Jones was killed, while 24-year-old Jennifer Sorenson and 27-year-old Kelsey Straughn were injured when the pickup truck they were in was allegedly struck by a turning tractor-trailer on North State Road 3. Emergency responders pronounced Jones dead at the scene, while Sorenson and Straughn were airlifted to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, North State Road 3 runs north and south through the heart of Greensburg, which is situated roughly 51 miles southeast of downtown Indianapolis.
Officers are still investigating the incident.
