Details:
On or about Thursday, November 25th, 2021, around 7:40 in the morning, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a man and woman dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported at the intersection of U.S. Highway 64 and U.S. Highway 82 in Lake Village, Arkansas.
Law enforcement representatives said 23-year-old Diamante Estrellas and 26-year-old Karena Everett were killed when the car they were in allegedly struck a turning tractor-trailer at the intersection of U.S. Highway 64 and U.S. Highway 82. Estrellas and Everett died of their injuries a short time after the accident, but it is not immediately clear if they died at the scene or after being rushed to a nearby hospital.
According to Google Maps, Lake Village is about 128 miles southeast of downtown Little Rock.
Deputies from the Chicot County Sheriff’s Office assisted Arkansas State Police after the accident.
