On or about Friday, June 3rd, 2022, around 4:48 in the afternoon, a major two-vehicle car accident left a 23-year-old man dead. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the Tom Craddick Highway in Midland County, Texas.
Officials from the Texas DPS said 23-year-old Diego Cota was killed when the vehicle he was in and another car collided when one of the vehicles allegedly failed to yield. Emergency responders pronounced Cota dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. Police did not mention any other injuries in their statement on the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at or near the intersection with Highway 158.
Police are still looking into the crash.
