On or about Sunday, February 6th, 2022, around 5:50 in the evening, a serious single-vehicle motorcycle accident left one individual dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along State Highway 350 just outside Snyder in Scurry County, Texas.
Deputies from the Scurry County Sheriff’s Office said 50-year-old Domingo Moncevais III was killed when the motorcycle he was driving allegedly veered off the side of Highway 350 and crashed into a fence a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Moncevais dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about nine miles from the Snyder town line.
Police are still trying to pin down what happened in the accident.
