On or about Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022, around 5:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and an SUV sent three individuals to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of Recreational Road 255 and Highway 96 in Jasper County, Texas.
Authorities said 52-year-old Barbara Cole, 75-year-old Don Snider, and 70-year-old Charlene Snider were injured when the pickup truck Don was driving allegedly turned onto Highway 96 from RR 255 and struck Cole’s SUV. Emergency responders transported Don and Charlene Snider and Cole to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Recreation Road 255 and Highway 96 is on the north side of Jasper County.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
