On or about Sunday, January 30th, 2022, around 4:04 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 56-year-old Richmond, Virginia woman dead. Authorities from the DSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 95 in Richmond, Virginia
Representatives from the Delaware State Police said 56-year-old Dona T. Brechin was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the back of a passenger vehicle along I-95. Officials said the vehicle, driven by John D. White, may have merged unexpectedly into the path of the tractor-trailer in the moments before the collision. Brechin was pronounced dead of her injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 winds north and south along the southern edge of Interstate 95.
Police are still investigating the accident.
