On or about Friday, November 12th, 2021, around 12:00 in the morning, an a serious tractor-trailer accident sent a 52-year-old Cherokee man to the hospital. Deputies from the Sioux County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at Premium Iowa Pork on Main Street in Hospers, Iowa.

Law enforcement representatives from the area said 52-year-old Donald Connor was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the building he was in as the truck was turning onto Main Street from Premium Iowa Pork. Emergency responders transported Connor to nearby range City Area Health System with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.

According to Google Map, Premium Iowa Pork is situated in the center of Hospers, which is about 215 miles northwest of Des Moines.

Authorities are still examining the cause of the accident.
