On or about February 26th, 2022, around 10:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent a 40-year-old woman to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 30 in Texarkana, Texas.
Investigators said 40-year-old Donisha Lafae Purifoy was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly changed lanes and struck her car along I-30. After the initial accident, Purifoy’s vehicle was pushed into a nearby barrier. Emergency responders transported Purifoy to a nearby hospital in order to be treated for incapacitating injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 30 cuts east and west through Texarkana.
Local law enforcement assisted at the scene of the collision.
