On or about Wednesday, March 10th, 2021, around 12:15 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left an 86-year-old woman dead. Representatives from the OHP said the accident was reported along Highway 54 just outside Corn in Washita County, Oklahoma.

Investigators said 86-year-old Donna Nickel was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck her car while she was making a turn. The tractor-trailer may have been attempting to pass the car when the accident happened. Emergency responders pronounced Nickel dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries in their preliminary statement.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is located about 3 miles east of Corn, which is roughly 83 miles west of Oklahoma City.

Multiple agencies are investigating the accident at this time.
