On or about Thursday, September 23rd, 2021, around 11:05 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck left one man dead and sent a truck driver to the hospital. Representatives from the ASP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 67 and Midway Road in Donaldson, Arkansas.
Deputies from the Hot Spring County Sheriff’s Department said 86-year-old Doyle Watson was killed when the pickup truck he was driving was hit by a southbound tractor-trailer as he was driving through the intersection of Highway 86 and Midway Road. Paramedics pronounced Watson dead a short time after the accident. Police identified the driver of the dump truck as 56-year-old Michael Jones, who sustained unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, Donaldson is situated about 57 miles southeast of Little Rock.
