Details:
On or about Friday, September 17th, 2021, around 3:50 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a Hamburg man and a Crossett woman dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 8 near the intersection with Highway 133 in Fountain Hill, Arkansas.
Officials from the Arkansas State Police said 31-year-old Sharrie Williams and 29-year-old Drackus Charleston were killed when the car they were in allegedly crossed from the westbound lanes and was struck by an eastbound tractor-trailer. Charleston and Williams died of their injuries a short time after the collision. Police did not mention any other injuries in their report on the crash.
According to Google Maps, Highway 8 runs east and west along the southern edge of Fountain Hill, which is located about 108 miles south of Fountain Hill.
