On or about Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, around 9:37 at night, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left a 62-year-old Texas man dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along Interstate 30 in Rockport, Arkansas.
Representatives from the Arkansas State Police said 62-year-old Dwayne Pinson was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly drove off the side of Interstate 30 and slammed into a tree a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Pinson dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 30 cuts east and west through Rockport.
