On or about Wednesday, October 28th, 2020, around 7:05 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left a 62-year-old man dead. Officers said the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 278 and Concord Church Road in Allendale County, Georgia.
Authorities said that 62-year-old Eddie Lee Robinson was killed when his eastbound Chrysler Sebring was struck by a tractor-trailer that allegedly turned into his path from Concord Church Road. First responders pronounced Robinson dead a short time after the collision.
Examining the intersection on Google Maps shows that only Concord Church Road has a stop sign. The intersection is located just a few miles north of Allendale. Allendale is located about 32 miles northeast of Georgia.
State and local law enforcement are investigating the accident.
