On or about Tuesday, June 21st, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, an accident between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer left a 55-year-old man dead. Troopers from the KSP said the accident was reported along Highway 25 in Laurel County, Kentucky.
Law enforcement officials from the Kentucky State Police said 55-year-old Edward Markham was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck his motorcycle while turning out of a business parking lot along Highway 25. Emergency responders pronounced Markham dead of his injuries when they arrived at the scene of the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt in the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance north of London.
Police are still looking into the accident.
