Details:
On or about Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and an 18-wheeler left a 41-year-old Ohio man dead. Troopers from the NSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 in Wells, Nevada.
Spokespeople from the Nevada State Police said 41-year-old Edwin Jones was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly struck the back of another 18-wheeler on the side of Interstate 80. Emergency responders pronounced Jones dead of the injuries he suffered when he was ejected from the vehicle in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 2 miles outside of Wells.
Authorities are still trying to pin down the cause of the accident.
