On or about Tuesday, December 28th, 2021, around 10:30 at night, a multi-vehicle accident sent eight people to the hospital. Officials from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Highway 99 near the intersection with Birnham Woods Drive in Spring, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said eight as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when several vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident on Highway 99. Officials did not indicate how many vehicles were in the incident, nor did they elaborate as to what may have started the crash. Paramedics transported eight people to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 25 miles north of downtown Houston.
