Details:

Manuel Alarcon, Carlos Arzate, Dawson Hogan, Mario Juarez, Stephanie Purcell, Baiel Sharshembiev, Larry Smith and Giovanni Stefan were killed and 46 injured in a pileup involving more than 70 vehicles on I-70 near Goodland, KD. The first crash occurred around 3:22 Friday, March 14, 2025.

Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash was set off by a dust storm that blew through the area, reducing visibility to almost zero. Multiple semi-trucks were also involved in the crash, but exact numbers have yet to be released.
