On or about Wednesday, November 24th, 2021, around 1:41 in the afternoon, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a tour bus left eighteen people injured. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported along Highway 83 near the Waimea Bay Beach Park in Haleiwa, Hawaii.
Investigators said eighteen as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a tour bus and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances while driving on Highway 83. Officials indicated the collision was head-on in nature. Emergency responders treated four people with serious injuries, while fourteen others were treated for minor injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northern edge of Honolulu.
