On or about Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, around 1:48 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck sent a 21-year-old woman to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in McLennan County, Texas.
Texas DPS officials said 21-year-old Eliyah Teague was injured when the Ford F-150 pickup truck she was driving was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer that made an unexpected lane change into her path. Teague was taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
Authorities indicated the tractor-trailer driver may not have signaled the lane change before the accident, and cited them for changing lanes when unsafe in connection with the crash.
