On or about Sunday, March 6th, 2022, a serious two-vehicle car accident left a 23-year-old Big Spring woman dead and sent a 61-year-old man to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 20 in Midland, Texas.
Officials from the Texas DPS said 23-year-old Emily Crawford was killed when the vehicle she was in was allegedly hit by a car on the shoulder of the roadway. Crawford was pronounced dead of her injuries after the accident, while the driver of the other vehicle, identified as 61-year-old Willie Connor was rushed to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 20 runs east and west along the southern edge of Midland.
