Details:
On or about Monday, July 12th, 2021, around 9:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a dump truck claimed the life of a 66-year-old Dallas, Texas resident. Troopers from the OHP said the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 in Murray County, Oklahoma.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said 66-year-old Enrique Martinez was killed when the dump truck he was driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown circumstances. Paramedics rushed Martinez to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate runs north and south along the eastern edge of Murray County, which is about 84 miles south of downtown Oklahoma City.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
