Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, around 9:30 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a semi truck left one man dead and injured another. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 in Hudspeth County, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas DPS said 31-year-old Erick Trejo Orta was killed and 40-year-old Jesus Daniel Sanchez was injured when Orta’s tractor-trailer struck the rear of Sanchez’ 18-wheeler along I-10. Emergency responders pronounced Orta dead a short time after the accident, while Sanchez was treated for unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated about five miles west of Sierra Blanca.
Police are still investigating the accident.
