Details:
On or about May 18th, 2022, around 2:41 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one woman dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the Interstate 35 service road in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said Erika Martinez was killed when the vehicle she was in allegedly drove off the side of Interstate 35 and crashed into a pole a short distance off the roadway. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northbound service road. of Interstate 35.
Authorities are still examining the cause of the crash.
