Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 26th, 2022, around 2:23 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer, a pedestrian, and a vehicle that had been a previous collision left two individuals dead. Troopers from the VSP said the accident was reported along Route 220 in Henry County, Virginia.
Spokespeople from the Virginia State Police said 21-year-old Espana Ezequiel Santiago and 24-year-old Breyner Dominguez were killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly crashed into the scene of a previous rollover accident on Route 220. Santiago, who was standing outside of a vehicle, and Breyner, who was inside the vehicle, died of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 52 miles south of Roanoke.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
