Details:
On or about Saturday, May 21st, 2022, around 3:30 in the morning, a serious car accident with a pedestrian left one woman dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Highway 290 in Austin, Texas.
Officers from the Austin Police Department said Fabiola Cervantes was killed when she was allegedly hit by a passing vehicle as she was walking near or tried to cross the lanes of Highway 290. Emergency responders rushed Cervantes to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is in the 7000 block of Highway 290.
