Details:
On or about March 17th, 2022, around 10:27 at night, a major two-vehicle car accident left two individuals dead. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market 812 in Bastrop County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said 22-year-old Felipe Cuz Tiul and 31-year-old Felipe Choc were killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly crossed over the center line of the roadway and struck a pickup truck in oncoming traffic. Emergency responders pronounced Tiul and Choc dead of their injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 32 miles southeast of downtown Austin.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
