On or about Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, around 6:41 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck sent a 61-year-old man to the hospital. Troopers from the DPS said the accident was reported along Pearce Lane near the exchange with Timber Creek Drive in Travis County, Texas.
Law enforcement spokespeople said 61-year-old Felix Marcus was injured when the pickup truck he was driving allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer that was blocking the lanes of Pearce Lane due to having stopped for traffic in the middle of turning out of a private driveway. Paramedics transported Marcus to a nearby hospital with incapacitating injuries stemming from the accident.
Police indicated they were recommending a a citation for stopping, standing, or parking on main travel way in connection with the collision, and noted there was a broken left side marker lamp on the truck.
Multiple agencies tended to the scene of the accident.
