On or about Friday, June 10th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 17-year-old boy dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Market Street in Laredo, Texas.
Officers from the Laredo Police Department said 17-year-old Fernando Robles was killed when the passenger vehicle he was driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances along Market Street. Emergency responders pronounced Robles dead of his injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at or near the intersection with McClellan Avenue.
Police are still trying to pin down the cause of the accident.
