On or about Saturday, April 30th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, a major Pedal Pub trolley accident sent fifteen individuals to the hospital. Authorities from the APD said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of West Peachtree Street and 14th Street in Atlanta.
Officers from the Atlanta Police Department said fifteen as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the Pedal Pub trolley they were on crashed and tipped to one side near the intersection of West Peachtree and 14th Street. Paramedics transported fifteen individuals to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
Police have since identified the driver of the Pedal Pub trolley as James Anthony Johnson, who currently faces charged of DUI and business permit violations in connection with the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated in midtown Atlanta.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
