On or about Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, around 10:35 at night, an accident between a box truck, a pickup truck, and three passenger vehicles sent five people to the hospital. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along the 215 Freeway in Riverside, California.
Authorities from the California Highway Patrol said five as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a box truck, three passenger vehicles, and a pickup collided in a chain-reaction accident along the 215 Freeway. Police did not specify what may have started the chain-reaction crash. Five people were taken to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance north of Central Avenue.
