On or about Saturday, March 12th, 2022, around 10:30 at night, an accident with an alleged drunk driver sent four individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 290 near the exchange with Farm-to-Market 1948 in Washington County, Texas.
Officers from the area said four as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the vehicle they were in was struck from behind by an alleged drunk driver along Highway 290. Paramedics transported four people from the vehicle to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Police have since charged the driver of the rearmost vehicle, identified as Trevor Litke, with intoxication assault in connection with the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 83 miles northwest of downtown Houston.
