On or about Friday, February 19th, 2021, around 3:05 in the afternoon, an accident between two charter buses sent a driver and three passengers to the hospital. Troopers from the VSP said the accident happened on the southbound side off Interstate 95 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia.

Authorities said a charter bus allegedly struck the back of a second charter bus that had stopped for a work crew in the right lane. Emergency responders transported a bus driver and three passengers to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 runs north and south through the eastern side of Spotsylvania County, which is located about 56 miles north of Richmond.

Police are still investigating the collision.
