On or about Tuesday, January 11th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between an SUV, a pickup truck, and a heavy-duty pickup truck sent four individuals to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the multi-vehicle accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 1413 just outside Lago Vista in Travis County, Texas.
Officials from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said four as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a pickup truck, an SUV, and a heavy-duty truck collided in a chain-reaction accident along FM 1413. Authorities did not specify how the accident may have started off. Paramedics transported four victims to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. Police did not indicate which vehicles the victims were in at the time of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 40 miles northeast of downtown Austin.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
