On or about Friday, March 12th, 2021, around 4:25 in the afternoon, an accident between a school bus and a car left four students injured. Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Renns Lake Road in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Troopers from the MSHP said four students were injured when the school bus they were on allegedly crossed from the westbound lanes and struck an eastbound Honda Civic. Four students suffered unspecified injuries, two of which were taken to nearby Capital Region Medical Center for treatment.
According to Google Maps, Jefferson City is situated about 132 miles west of the greater St. Louis area.
State and local police assisted at the scene of the accident.
