On or about Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, around 12:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer, a car, and a pickup truck towing a trailer sent four people to the hospital. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 15 in Victorville, California.
Police said four as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the back of a car that was moving slowly with a flat tire. After the initial collision, the tractor-trailer collided with a heavy-duty pickup truck towing a trailer. Paramedics transported four people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident. Officials did not specify which vehicles the victims were in at the time of the collison.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 15 (15 Freeway) runs north and south along the eastern edge of Victorville, which is about 84 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
Police are still investigating the accident.
