On or about Tuesday, December 14th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, a serious collision between a tractor-trailer and an SUV sent a man and three children to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 359 and Ranch Road in Laredo, Texas.
Officials from the DPS said an as-of-yet unidentified 40-year-old man and three children were injured when the SUV they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. Paramedics transported the man and the three children to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. The man and one of the children were listed in critical condition, while the other two children were reported in stable condition by medical staff.
According to Google Maps, the Laredo sits on the Mexican border, about 157 miles south of San Antonio.
Authorities are still looking into the accident.
