On or about Tuesday, October 27th, 2020, an accident between two tractor-trailers and a passenger vehicle sent four individuals to the hospital. Local police said the accident happened on the westbound side of Interstate 10 on the Mississippi River Bridge in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Officers said that four as-of-yet unidentified people were hurt when an 18-wheeler allegedly rear-ended a Dodge passenger vehicle, pushing it into the rear of another semi truck it was following. Four people were taken to the hospital, one of which was airlifted by helicopter.

All the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 were closed after the crash.

Looking at the Mississippi River Bridge on Google Streetview shows a six lane bridge, with a low concrete barrier dividing east and westbound traffic. The bridge is located on the western side of Baton Rouge.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene of the accident to tend to the victims.
