On or about Wednesday, June 29th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and several passenger vehicles sent four people to the hospital. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 near the exchange with Braker Lane in Austin, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas Department of Public Safety said four as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer and several other passenger vehicles collided under unspecified circumstances along I-35 near the Braker Lane exit. Emergency responders transported four people from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity. Officials said there were a total of 12 people involved in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 35 and Braker Lane is on the north side of Austin.
