On or about Thursday, October 28th, 2021, around 12:00 in the afternoon, a major tractor-trailer rollover accident sent four individuals to the hospital. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 5 just outside Federal Way in King County, Washington.

Law enforcement spokespeople said four as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly separated from it’s towed unit, crashed through a barrier, and rolled along the southbound side of I-5. Police indicated several vehicles were involved, but did not elaborate on how many. Paramedics transported four people to the hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 5 runs north and south along the eastern edge of Federal Way, which is about 23 miles south of downtown Seattle.

Officials are still investigating.
