On or about Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, around 6:15 in the evening, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent four individuals to the hospital. Representatives from the ISP said the accident was reported at the intersection of South Winnebago Street and Chestnut Street in Rockford, Illinois.
Officials from the Illinois State Police said four as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into a passenger vehicle at the intersection of Winnebago and Chestnut Street. Paramedics transported four people from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of Rockford.
