On or about Thursday, April 15th, 2021, around 3:30 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer sent four people to the hospital. Highway Patrol officials said the accident happened along State Road 112 near the intersection with Northwest 17th Avenue in Miami, Florida.
Police said four as-of-yet unidentified people in an SUV were taken to the hospital after a tractor-trailer allegedly broadsided the vehicle. At least one of the vehicles burst into flames following the initial collision. Paramedics treated the driver and three passengers from the SUV for unspecified injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of State Road 112 and Northwest 17th Avenue is a short distance from downtown Miami.
Multiple agencies are assisting in the investigation.
