Details:
On or about Sunday, March 14th, 2021, around 4:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer, a van and a pickup truck left four people dead. Investigators from the FHP said the accident happened on the southbound side of Interstate 95 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Investigators said four as-of-yet unidentified people were killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck a pickup truck and a van loaded with three people that were stopped at the scene of a previous accident. The driver and two passengers in the van, as well as the driver of the pickup truck were pronounced dead of their injuries after the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident was in the southbound lanes near the exchange with Gatlin Boulevard in Port St. Lucie.
Florida Highway Patrol and local officials are investigating the accident.
