Details:
On or about Saturday, April 9th, 2022, around 5:30 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one person dead. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported along North Ash Avenue in Lubbock, Texas.
Deputies from the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office said 61-year-old Fred Garza was killed when the vehicle he was in allegedly drove off the side of North Ash Ave. and crashed a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Garza dead a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the north side of Lubbock.
Officials are still investigating the crash.
