On or about Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, around 1:13 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left a 43-year-old woman dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along State Highway 322 in Rusk County, Texas.
Local law enforcement representatives said 43-year-old Gabriela F. Bozeman was killed when the car she was in allegedly veered off the side of Highway 322 and rolled after it struck a tree a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics pronounced Bozeman dead of her injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 134 miles southeast of downtown Dallas.
Police are still working to determine the cause of the accident.
