Gary Hartig was killed in a three vehicle crash involving a construction truck on Interstate 90, near mile marker 81, in Cle Elum, WA. Washing State Patrol states the crash happened around 12:25 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025.

According to reports the construction truck, driven by Igor A. Grudovik, allegedly failed to adjust its speed when merging with slower traffic. He has been charged with Second Degree Negligent Driving for his involvement. Investigation into the accident is ongoing.
