On or about Friday, November 5th, 2021, around 7:29 in the evening, a hit-and-run accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 67-year-old man. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of Mt. Mariah Road and Highway 105 in Montgomery County, Texas.
Local law enforcement officials said 67-year-old Gary Lee Frank was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of Mt. Mariah Road and Highway 105 when it struck Frank’s pickup truck. Emergency responders pronounced Frank dead of his injuries when they responded to the accident. The tractor-trailer did not stay at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 54 miles north of downtown Houston.
Multiple agencies are investigating the incident.
